Yes. A basic ping (ICMP) or TCP port check works on almost anything, and an HTTP(S) check confirms a web-facing service is actually responding — no credentials required for either. SNMP and SSH simply unlock deeper, service-specific detail once basic reachability is confirmed. See Adding Devices.
